Yesterday The Israeli occupation authorities forced Walid al -Maqdisi who is an inhabitant of Silwan neighborhoodtown south of Al-Aqsa (Dome of The rock) to demolish his house with his own hands after they threatened him to demolish the house and pay for the costs as well.

Walid on a live TV said while he demolishes his house that he got a final court order of his house demolishing from the Israeli Occupation forces and the order includes the threat of demolishing his house and paying the costs if he doesn’t comply (approximately 12 thousand dollars).

Walid built his home two years ago to house his family of three individuals, reaching its construction cost eighty thousand shekels (about twenty thousand dollars) and an area of forty square meters, but today is forced to destroy it.

He pointed out that the occupation authorities refrain from giving Jerusalemites of building permits in Jerusalem , after emptying the city of Jerusalemites and push them to the residential areas outside Jerusalem (to West Bank) to be predominantly Jewish population.

According to “National Office for Land Defense and Settlement resisting), the Israeli authorities demolished residential gatherings of Palestinian homes in the West bank the first half of this year, more than they demolished the whole of last year.
