For the third night in a row, the Israeli occupation army shelled Palestinian resistance positions and civilian sites in Gaza, injuring two civilians.
The Israeli occupation army said that warplanes, helicopters and tanks had targeted Hamas military positions, including a naval defense system, an underground structure and observation posts.
He added that the shelling was in response to the continued firing of incendiary balloons towards gaza's cover settlements, and israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had threatened a harsh response a few days earlier if the balloons continued to be released.
