Pro-Israel groups and their Neo-Nazi allies in the UK

Sammy Stein is a man who frolics in excrement and then flicks a speck of dirt off his nose. He works on behalf of the Israeli Embassy to defend Israeli mass murder, torture, sexual abuse of Palestinian women and children and every manner of Israeli crime. Stein was caught in flagrante recently with neo-Nazi Max Dunbar.

The pair were filmed and photographed working together to harass a Scottish Palestine Solidarity stall. Stein then claimed that his friends at Glasgow Friends of Israel(i Snipers) ended their relationship with Max Dunbar as soon as Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign flagged up his BNP pedigree. Max had been a leading promoter of the BNP's neo-Nazi ideology of White supremacy including Holocaust denial.

Like Trump caught boasting of his serial sexual assaults, or the Israeli Chief Military Rabbi endorsing rape of Palestinian women by Israeli soldiers in time of war, the glare of publicity on such practices usually prompts a public apology or retreat, but few take seriously such retreats under pressure.

With Sammy caught sauntering around Buchanan Street with Max the BNP-er, the claim of ignorance and subsequent parting of the ways is disingenuous - the embarrassing photographs of the couple merely illustrate Israel's firm alliances with extreme rightist regimes from Brazil to Hungary, Poland and beyond.

Israel's promotion of non-state actors of a neo-Nazi provenance is also well documented, even if the pro-Israel crowd's involvement with neo-Nazis like Dunbar is often treated as unremarkable by mainstream media outlets in the UK.

To take one example, the Middle East Forum is funded by a tech billionaire, Robert Shillman, and is run by Daniel Pipes:

"I would like to see an Israeli victory and a Palestinian defeat. The Middle East Forum calls this the Israel Victory…it's war and our side needs to win.”

Greg Roman Greg Roman(1) runs the MEF day-to-day operations and in this capacity he set up a US speaking tour for Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (aka Tommy Robinson). The tour was ultimately unsuccessful since Yaxley-Lennon was refused a US entry visa. Analysts thought the tour, had it gone ahead, could have netted him £1 million to fund his activities, including fascist street actions, in the UK.

Who is this Gregg Roman who is organising such events for Yaxley-Lennon, another neo-Nazi alumnus of the BNP (British National Party)? Gregg Roman served as the political advisor to the Deputy Foreign Minister of Israel, Danny Ayalon, and worked for the Israeli Ministry of Defence. He attended courses in national security studies and political communications at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya, Israel, the hub of the Israeli politico-military-intelligence elite.

When Gregg Roman organised Yaxley-Lennon / Robinson's tour he was doing so with the blessing of the Israeli Government.

Israel has partnered with some of the world's nastiest antisemites since its bloody birthing in 1948. In doing so it was acting in the spirit of Zionism since Herzl revealingly wrote that "The anti-Semites will become our most dependable friends, the anti-Semitic countries our allies."

robinson It's a win-win situation for both ends of the axis: the antisemites get rid of Jews and the Zionists get fresh forces for their settler-colonial project. That's why the Israeli regime partners with Bolsonaro, Orban and neo-Nazis such as Stephen Yaxley-Lennon/Tommy Robinson.

That's why Glasgow Friends of Israel found Max Dunbar such a congenial partner on Buchanan Street. But swimming in the filth of mass murder and apartheid, defending an army whose chief spiritual guide endorsed rape of comely Gentile women in wartime, Max Dunbar is a mere speck of dirt among the excrement of Israeli war crimes and crimes against humanity. After all Dunbar and Yaxley-Lennon only aspire to commit atrcities; Israel does it daily.

(1) I crossed swords some years ago with the very unimpressive Gregg Roman on an Al Jazeera event that included Palestinian political figure Mustpha Barghouti. It is a mystery, but comforting, to discover now that two years later this mediocrity was "named one of the 10 most inspiring global Jewish leaders by the Jewish Telegraphic Agency". Since only pro-Israel Jewish leaders were included in the survey the result is reassuring. Such an underwhelming quality of opposition.
